PLANNING BOARD
MINUTES OF
JULY 17, 1997
PRESENT: Chairman Tracy Scott, Harold Arey, Skip Lawrence, Stan Brehm and Secretary Andrea Deachman
Skip Lawrence will be a voting member.
Chairman Scott introduced the Board and requested them to review the minutes of June 5, 1997.
Motion was made to accept the minutes as written.

PRELIMINARY HEARING: Frank Merrill
Subdivision
Map 5, Lot 71, Deer Meadow Road
Steve Trombly, surveyor presented the plans to the Board.
Abutters present were: Walter Sanborn, Paul Sanborn and George and Rhonda Beauchemin.
Mr. Merrill would like a waiver from the Board for the 750ft road ending in cul-de-sac, this length is much longer than zoning states but is not unreasonable.
Concerns from abutters were docks and houses at waters edge. These all have to meet state regulations.
Other concerns were water flow for fire equipment.
Motion was made to have the Town Engineer review the plan and advise on road impact to Deer Meadow Road.

DISCUSSION: Gary DePalma
Gary’s RV
Addition to Original Building
Map 3, Lot 93, Dover Road
Mr. DePalma would like to add an additional 38 feet to the existing building on the front lot. He would like to cancel the addition to the back lot building. Again, Mr. Depalma was sent to the Building Inspector to follow thru with his plans.
DISCUSSION: Russell Nelson
Sale of Vehicles
Map 3, Lot 17, Dover Rd.
Mr. Nelson received a letter from the Selectmen to come and speak with the Board about selling used cars on his lot.
Mr. Nelson feels he is being selected out and feels that other people in town can sell cars on their land why can’t he?
The Board explained to Mr. Nelson that he has a business on the property and he would need to go thru a site review for a multi use business.
Mr. Nelson was given a site review packet.
DISCUSSION: Bruce Luksza
Multi use Business
Map 9, Lot 19, Swiggey Brook Rd.
Mr. Luksza explained to the Board he would like to become a multi use business and what did he need to do.
The Board explained that first we needed the first site review plan with septic approval #’s on it, then he would need to go thru another site review with the two business listed on the plan.
Mr. Luksza will be in contact with the Board.

Lot Line Adjustment
Bear Hill Rd.
Ms. Gayer brought final plans to be signed. They were not notarized

The Board discussed planning information needs to be on the office computer for updates and changes.
Board members will meet with the selectmen about this in the near future.
